This will help determine the square footage and how much solution should be mixed for either preventative or curative treatment. The recommended use rate is between 0.67 to 13 ounces per gallon, covering approximately 300-1000 square feet. Refer to the product label for detailed application rates and information.

For preparations, various spray equipment can be used including backpack sprayers, hand pump sprayers, tank and hand-held spray guns, boom sprayers, and ride-on sprayers. To control most annual weeds, use 1-2 ounces per gallon of water, and for tougher or hard-to-kill perennial weeds, use 2-4 ounces. Again, consult the product label for complete application rates and information.

When applying the herbicide, ensure complete coverage and thorough wetting of the foliage for optimal results. Be aware that heavy rainfall or irrigation immediately after application may wash off the herbicide, potentially requiring a repeat application for effective control.
