This primer effectively blocks out most stains such as asphalt, water, rust, cedar, pine, ink, pencil, felt marker, and light smoke stains. In some cases, two coats may be necessary for stubborn stains, while extremely water-sensitive stains should be treated with the original Kilz primer. To achieve optimal stain-blocking results, it is recommended to allow Kilz2 to cure for 4 hours before applying a topcoat. Cleanup is easy with just soap and water.
