Waterproofing Paint for Basements and Masonry, White, 1 Gallon

This premium interior/exterior paint is specially designed to waterproof and seal porous concrete and masonry surfaces both inside and outside of your home. With the use of nanotechnology, this paint creates a barrier that helps prevent water infiltration, while its alkali-resistant coating ensures a durable and decorative finish. It is recommended to apply this paint on properly prepared above and below grade basement walls, masonry walls, retaining walls, cinder and concrete blocks, stucco, and brick surfaces. Avoid using it on floors or walls with active water leaks.

Before painting, make sure to prime all uncoated, patched, chalky, and adjacent wood and/or metal surfaces with KILZ Premium Primer. For below grade applications, fill any holes or cracks with hydraulic cement before painting. To achieve optimal results, it is advised to apply a minimum of two coats of this waterproofing paint. The paint dries to the touch within one hour and can be recoated in 4 hours, depending on humidity levels.

This 1-gallon can of Interior/Exterior Basement and Masonry Waterproofing Paint in white can cover an area of 75 to 125 square feet per gallon, depending on the porosity of the surface. Use a high-quality 1/2"-3/4" nap roller, a 4-inch nylon/polyester brush, or an airless sprayer capable of delivering 2200-3200 PSI or greater with a .023"-.025" spray tip for application.
